These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Desi Drop website, mobile application and delivery service (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, or by creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Desi Drop connects customers with independent local shops that sell groceries and everyday essentials, and arranges delivery of those goods. Desi Drop is a marketplace and delivery platform — the goods are supplied by the individual shops, not by Desi Drop.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login details secure. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Prices, offers and availability are set by the shops and may change at any time. Prices shown at checkout include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is taken at the time of ordering using the payment method you select. Any delivery or service fees are shown before you confirm your order.
We aim to deliver within the window shown at checkout, but delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delivery may be affected by factors outside our control, such as traffic, weather or shop availability. Orders must be accepted at the delivery address you provided.
Because groceries are perishable and orders are prepared quickly, orders may only be cancelled within a short window before preparation begins. If an item is missing, incorrect, damaged or of unsatisfactory quality, please raise the issue in the app so we can arrange a suitable remedy, which may include a refund or replacement. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If you register as a shop partner, you agree to list accurate product and pricing information, comply with all applicable food, hygiene and trading laws, and honour orders accepted through the Service. Commission, payouts and the partner relationship are set out separately during registration and in the app.
You agree not to misuse the Service — including by attempting to disrupt it, accessing it fraudulently, submitting false orders or information, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
All content, trademarks, logos and software in the Service are owned by or licensed to Desi Drop and may not be copied, reproduced or used without our prior written permission.
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Desi Drop is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or on this page, with the "last updated" date amended accordingly. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
